Drones are becoming increasingly popular and accessible, but they are strictly prohibited during the Wales Airshow. This includes both professional and recreational use. The event will be taking place within restricted airspace, and as such usage of UAS’s, UAV’s and all other types of drones is against the law. If anyone is found to be using the drones within 6 miles of Swansea bay they will be stopped and equipment confiscated, and will be investigated and prosecuted by the CAA (Civil Aviation Authority).
